Indirect Participation in SDG Dilogues/Meetings

Partnerships for the goals

The university’s staff have been asked by the local governments, especially the provincial administration organization, to lead its staff on making annual strategic plans and by making the plan, the SWOT analysis must be performed prior to the strategic plan can be made. Here at this step, information related to SDGs is brought into consideration. This can be considered as indirect involvement. In terms of direct involvement, the university has spent a strategic budget on projects that emphasize boosting the income of the local people, solving social issues, and strengthening the communities.

There are several occasions when the university has taken part in meetings, and dialogues held both by government and non-government agencies. Although the events were not directly about SDGs, many parts of the discussion were about poverty, hunger, equality, and education.
