Sustainable Cities and Communities

Arts and Culture Center has organized Kamphaeng Phet Study Project to encourage KPRU people within the university to participate in arts and culture preservation and to record information on the art, culture, heritage, and wisdom of Kamphaeng Phet province in the form of Kamphaeng Phet Studies journal. KPP Study Journal is an academic journal with content developed from the information of Kamphaeng Phet Study Project submitted by staff members of KPRU, and it is then compiled and included in the Kamphaeng Phet study database starting in 2018 - present (operating for 8 years).

This KPP Study Journal has collected local and displaced community cultural heritage, as well as important national stories. Since 2018, over 100 stories have been published online via the KPP Studies link. The examples of the local culture are languages, rituals, traditions, and local wisdom. In addition to local heritage, the studies also collected the background of the mountain tribes in Kamphaeng Phet including language, lifestyle, and performing art. The national history is the private visit of His Majesty King Rama V in Kamphaeng Phet.
