Students and Civil Society in Maemok
Since 2017, teachers and students from the Public Administration Program have been involved in the implementation of activities that connect civil society networks and serve as a collaborative mechanism for research in the areas of social impact assessment (SIA) and social return on investment (SROI).
A career in nursing care for the elderly in Mae Mok Sub-district is a form of supplementary income for female farmers that allows them to generate additional income. After training, they can earn more than 15,000 baht per person per month. Furthermore, volunteering with government officials in Lampang province to care for the elderly who are dependent in the areas is regarded as a good example of social enterprise that can generate income as well as self-worth.
