Sustainable Cities and Communities

The staff under the department of Geoinformatics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, have worked closely with government agencies in the area such as the Tambon Organization Administration, and the Department of Agriculture in using geographic information to plan land use and natural disasters like floods and forest fires. they also used mapping technology to help farmers plan better use of their land. From this continuing collaboration, the program in Geoinformatics, Kamphaeng Phet Land Development Station, Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Irrigation Project Office, Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Office of Public Works and Town & Country Planning together with Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Agricultural Extension Office has agreed to sign the memorandum of understanding for further collaboration.
