One main mission of the university is to preserve and promote cultural heritages. The university provided free access to its culturally related building which is the Ruanthai Museum.

Inside Ruan Thai Museum, among 4 Thai houses, the exhibits are divided into four stories (one for each story):

1. Kamphaeng Phet City displays information, images, models, and videos showing the geography of various districts, local natural history, and archaeology of Kamphaeng Phet Province.

2. Kamphaeng Phet Ethnology displays information on images, models, and touch-screen computers providing information on ethnic minorities who settle in Kamphaeng Phet Province, including the Hmong, Yao, Karen, and Lisu ethnic groups, as well as the local people in the province, traditions, and lifestyles.

3. The outstanding heritage of Kamphaeng Phet City showcases the outstanding features of the province in terms of mineral resources with display media that include pictures and models.

4. The lecture room is a room for holding lectures and meetings. There is a screen showing a video about Kamphaeng Phet City. Inside, the arts and crafts of the Kamphaeng Phet people are displayed, such as lifestyles, tribal groups, wisdom, works of art, nature studies and living things.

The Buddha image known as "Phra Phuttha Vitharn Punya Bordee" is considered a sacred object of the university, enshrined with Thai style at the edge of a large pond in the centre of the university, and is one of the open spaces for the public to come for worship and contemplation. The name "Phra Phuttha Vitharn Punya Bordee" means "The Center of Knowledge." It is the mental anchor of every Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat student and staff, as well as many in the general public.

Hall of Fame at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University is an area dedicated to honor and show the achievements and pride of KPRU.. It displays the eight presidents who have served since its establishment, starting with Dr. Wichai Kaengkhan in 1973 and up to the current acting president, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Priyanuch Phromphasit in 2021. The room displays various information including:

10. Honorary certificates and awards The Hall of Fame signifies a sense of pride and continuity from previous generations, responding to local needs as "Servants of the King, Servants of the Land". This involves: 1. Developing qualified and academic positions 2. Cultivating students with knowledge the ASEAN community 3. Promoting and supporting faculties, staff, and students in research for local development 4. Strengthening the community by establishing clear target areas to assist 5. Supporting the cultural heritage preservation and promotion 6. Producing and developing quality and efficient teachers and educational personnel 7. Efficiently managing in accordance with local needs and global trends.

Office of Arts and Culture Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University is a regional studies centre building called the Duriyanath Art Hall. It operates in arts and culture preservation, one of the university's missions. It has duties and missions regarding the conservation, continuation, promotion, and dissemination of culture, cultural studies and research and academic services to communities and localities, including the development of culture, wisdom, and traditions of the locality, province, and nation. Currently, the Office of Arts and Culture is located on the outskirts of the university, next to the Ping River, with the Regional Building and the Duriyanat Art Gallery as offices to carry out the management of the office and to display costumes for performing arts.
