Water Resource Development Project
The university is dedicated to being a sustainable and environmentally friendly institution, enhancing student learning and setting a positive example for the surrounding local community and society. The General Affairs Division of Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University then organized a water resource development project on campus along with a training session on water conservation and water resource management. This activity was part of the university's sustainable development program for environmental management within the university held on June 7, 2023.
The training aimed to raise awareness about environmental preservation, which benefits health and well-being of people in the communities. Mr. Kasem Seekhum, Deputy Chairman of the Kamphaeng Phet Natural Resources and Environmental Volunteer Network and an expert in water conservation, was invited to deliver a lecture on water management in the morning session. His presentation included guidelines on establishing a closed-system underground water bank, in line with the King’s philosophy. In the afternoon same day, the participants engaged in hands-on activities to improve the water resource area behind the university's cafeteria. There are 200 participants attended this activity, including students, personnel, and vilager from Wang Yang village.
