KPRU as a part of the driving force that moves the province’s development plan to success
Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University strives to be an institution for the local community setting one of its missions on sustainable development of the local community . Working in collaboration with local agencies both public and private ones, the university transfer knowledge, research, and new innovations in moving the province’s development plan to success. The university assists the provincial agencies in determining their 20-year target (2023-2042).
On May 2-3, 2024, the first workshop on designing the provincial development plan. Nine experts in agriculture, production innovation, tourism, wellbeing, and environment participated in the workshop. The targets, indicators, and target values of 5-year periods as well as the significant operational plan and its roadmap were designed.
On August 30, 2024, the university participated in the second workshop which aimed to review the plan and projects that fit with short term development plan. The main point of the plan includes strategies to adding value to the production sectors, production processing, safety agriculture marketing, using renewable energy through technology and innovation, and the developing tourism management that matches the needs and travelling characteristics of potential tourists and uplifting the standards to international level. Furthermore, the plan is to focus on the development of the quality of life, create a strong society, and sustainably manage its natural resources and environment
